Zorgen voor jonge bosaanwas<\/h4>\n

Jonge bossen nemen meer CO2 op dan oude bossen. Daarom planten wij voor elke gekapte boom minstens twee nieuwe, ten gunste van toekomstige generaties.<\/p>\n

PEFC is een standaard die garandeert dat een product of dienst wordt uitgevoerd volgens vastgestelde kwaliteitseisen. Bossen met PEFC-certificering voldoen aan de specifieke vereisten van Forest Europe, het politieke proces voor duurzaam bosbeheer op het continent. De Federatie van Zweedse Boeren en bosbezittersverenigingen zijn verantwoordelijk voor PEFC in Zweden.<\/p>\n

FSC\u00ae is een onafhankelijke, internationale ledenorganisatie die milieuvriendelijk en sociaal verantwoord beheer van de bossen in de wereld bevordert. Deze certificering ondersteunt bedreigde dieren en planten, het toekomstig vermogen van de bodem om bosgroei te ondersteunen, veilige en gezonde arbeidsomstandigheden voor mensen die in bossen werken en de rechten van inheemse bevolkingen.<\/p>\n

De KD 56\u00b0C\/30 min-markering betekent dat het hout thermisch is gedroogd. De behandeling verwijdert schadelijke insecten en parasieten die zich in het hout kunnen verschuilen, waardoor het risico op verspreiding bij export wordt verminderd. Het label geeft ook aan dat het hout voldoet aan de vereisten voor vrijheid van schadelijke organismen, zoals die door de meeste landen buiten de EU worden opgelegd bij de import van hout en andere houtproducten.<\/p>\n
